Paddle England is pleased to announce that the Stronger Together Fund is now open for applications.
The fund, launched in March 2022, is a result of the growth of our membership community.
It helps support great projects, enabling more people to enjoy paddling regardless of identity, ability or circumstance.
If you’ve got a project or an idea that gets more people out onto the water, we need your help.
Please apply here by midday on the 29 November 2024 >>
In 2023, the Stronger Together Fund provided over £200,000 to support paddling projects across England.
Paddle UK CEO, Ashley Metcalfe said:
“Paddle UK has supported some brilliant and inspiring projects over the past few years.
“We look forward to seeing fresh applications that will appeal to the next generation of competitive and recreational paddlers alike through a variety of proposals that focus on the creation of new, exciting and attractive locally-based events covering our wide variety of paddling disciplines.
“We are clear in the strategic aim of the fund and remain determined to invest in projects that will get more young people, from all backgrounds and abilities, out on the water in the safest and most enjoyable environments.”
The sum of £100,000 is now available, so if you’ve got a project that gets more people out on the water, we’d love to hear from you.
Grants are available to non-profit organisations based in England to deliver a range of activities, events and introductory-level competitions.

Projects might include, but will not be restricted to, guided trips, a fitness time trial, an introduction to a discipline event, a mass SUP participation gathering such as a symposium, a #ShePaddles activity or disability paddle.
