A Slalom Coaching Conference is set to take place on Sunday 30 November, at the National Water Sports Centre, Holme Pierrepont.
The highly anticipated conference offers a unique and invaluable opportunity for coaches, athletes, and enthusiasts from across the UK to converge.
It serves as a vital platform for sharing cutting-edge learnings, best practices, and profound insights into the dynamic discipline of canoe slalom.
Attendees will benefit from a collaborative environment designed to foster growth, enhance coaching methodologies, and elevate the overall standard of the sport within the UK.
The programme is set to feature an impressive line-up of keynote speakers, ensuring a wealth of knowledge and inspiration for all participants.
Among them will be Olympic bronze medallist Kimberley Woods, whose competitive experience and strategic understanding will offer unparalleled perspectives.
Joining her will be K1 athlete Ben Haylett, who will share his experience from the international stage, talking transmission, connection, and stroke efficiency.
Finally, highly respected Olympic coach Mark Ratcliffe will also be in attendance, sharing his expertise on athlete development, performance optimisation, and the intricacies of high-level coaching.
Attending coaches will earn up to 20 CPD points and four community learning hours for registered performance coach candidates.
