On arrival at Nathan Benderson park the wind was strong.
Anna Little had a strong performance in the morning winning the quarter finals. She then proceeded to the semi finals and coming second taking her into final A.
Despite increasing winds, Anna had a very strong start and pushed hard managing to cross the line first, resulting in GB’s first sprint gold medal.
Junior men were first. Max Tee in heat 1 and James Little in heat 2. Max sadly did not get through. James was 3rd and made it to the quarter finals.
Will Keetley competed in the men’s open but did not proceed to the next round. Blue Ewer made it through to the final B.
The open men are unbelievably fast and talented.
Emma Adams made it to quarter finals then onto the final C in the over 50’s
Annie Ridsdill Smith made it to quarter finals in the over 50’s.
Verity Thomas was 7th in the second semi final and made it through to the final B winning that race in the over 40’s.
A good day had by all
