The GB SUP team has been announced for the forthcoming 2025 ICF SUP World Championships, in Abu Dhabi,
United Arab Emirates (29 October – 2 November).
The selection process was held at Paddle Logger GB SUP Falmouth Bay Open event, British National Championships on 7 and 8 June 2025.
Congratulations to those athletes who participated in the event and thank you to GB SUP for organising and running the event, making this selection process possible.
Subject to appeal, and athletes meeting the required eligibility standards detailed within the published policy, the following athletes are selected in accordance with the policy:

Athletes will be contacted at the email supplied as part of registration for the selection event.
They have been asked to confirm their intentions to take up their place in the 2025 SUP World Championship team by Monday 16 June 2025.
They must reply to the email to the SUP Selection Panel Chair, after this point their place may be offered to the next selected athlete in accordance with the published selection policy.
Appeals
The Paddle UK selection policy has a clear appeal process as outlined in the policy and can be found here.
Please remember that any appeal must be submitted within 2 working days of the publication of this statement to the Head of Governance.
Any Appeal would be heard by three members of the Paddle UK Disciplinary and Appeal Panel Register (More details can be found here).
If you object to any potential panel members hearing your appeal, please detail this in your Notice of Appeal as well as outlining the reasons for the objection.
