Great Britain will be represented in six sprint finals on the last day of competition at the Junior and U23 Wildwater World Championships in Solkan, Slovenia after a day of sprint heats today.
Kerry Christie has qualified in the U23 K1 final and will join sister Emma in the U23 WC2 also.
The Junior WC2 pair of Ciara Maloney and Elsie Landsborough qualified through in third place with Sophie Cameron booking her spot in the Junior WC1 and Freya Price in the U23 WC1 final.
In the Junior MK1 Samuel Stevely was fifth in his first run to book his spot at the first time of asking to make up the finalists.
Elsewhere in the Junior heats, in the WK1 Ciara Maloney was the highest placed Brit finishing in 22nd place. Elsie Landsborough ranked 26th with Adrianna Czarnecha finishing in 27th with Karly Leeson in 31st.
William Stevely was 19th in the Junior MK1. Compatriots Finlay Lovell was 53rd with Malachi Grant 48th.
In the C1, Sebastian Reeves was 14th and Emily McClean was 13th.
In the U23 events, Emma Christie just missed the WK1 finals finishing in 18th place overall. Freya Pryce was 20th.
In the MK1 Harry Singleton was 11th with compatriot Leon Tomlinson in 26th respectively with Lochlain Lovell in 34th.
In the U23 MC1 Regan Toop was the top-ranked Brit in 18th. Callum McDonald was 20th with Harry Sewell-Catchpole in 19th.
Finally, in the U23 MC2 Eddie Mackintosh and Toby Peyton-Jones were 13th.
The pairing of Lochlain Lovell & Harry Sewell-Catchpole were 15th with Adam Knox and Callum Mcdonald – 16th.
