The distance finals concluded the 2024 ICF SUP (Stand Up Paddling) World Championships in Sarasota, Florida, USA.
Nine Brits took to the final day of the five day competition, with sprint World Champion Anna Little the highest placed Brit with a top 10 finish.

The last day of paddling was the 11.5km distance race which consisted of a hot day with hardly any wind.
After winning her sprint World title two days ago, Anna Little finished 9th in the over 50’s. In the same event, Annie Ridsdill Smith came 19th & Emma Adams came 26th.
In the open category, Blue Ewer came 17th & Chris McDonald 65th.
Glen Sloss came 25th in the men’s over 40’s, whilst Paul Drake came 37th in the men’s over 50’s
Sara Maxey came 12th in the women’s over 40’s
Jacques Thomas raced in the junior race coming 6th. He was 5th in the 5km men’s recreational race.
