Members of Encounter launched their kayaks and stand up paddleboards (SUPs) onto the Fowey Estuary to carry out a cleanup.
They were joined by The Friends of Fowey Estuary, and they removed items like buckets, buoys, and discarded fishing gear.
Winsford and Middlewich Sea Cadets did a fantastic job cleaning the River Weaver, in Winsford
Tyne Valley Canoe Club had teams on the water and river banks of the River Tyne, at Tyne Riverside Park, Low Prudhoe.
They collected 20 sacks of rubbish, several discarded containers of paints along with blankets, seating, tyres and floor coverings.
Members of Chichester Canoe Club did their cleanup on the River Avon, near Tewkesbury.
They collected six huge bags of rubbish.
The South Birmingham Paddle Club tackled a stretch of the Worcester and Birmingham Canal.
They fished out 50 plastic bottles!
The University of Kent Paddle Club did their cleanup from Fordwich to Grove Ferry.
They found a trolley, some tyres, shoes, fishing equipment, industrial packaging, toys and more.
Rivington Paddlesport Club’s weekly session saw members of the club and the Anderton Centre collect rubbish from the Lower Rivington Reservoir.
They collected an amazing 24 bags of junk.
A team from Paddle Lincs took to the water on paddleboards to do a cleanup on the River Witham.
They started at Stamp End lock and made our way through town and into the Brayford Marina.
They collected five large bags full of rubbish.
Leicester Outdoors Pursuits Centre have a held a special cleanup event on the River Soar.
The Maund family took advantage of the spring sunshine and collected rubbish from the River Ivel, in Bedfordshire.
Volunteers from Soar Valley Canoe Club Number of Volunteers collected eight bags of rubbish from the River Soar near Leicester.
The bags contained 168 plastic bottles.
Kayak Nomad launched from Greve De Lecq, Jersey, and paddled to a beach near Isle Agois, a remote beach.
The main rubbish found was marine fishing equipment, including nets, rope and bits of old lobster pot.
Haverfordwest Kayak Club launched from the Bristol Trader, in Haverfordwest, and paddled downstream collecting rubbish from the River Cleddau.
A team from Spitfire Explorer Scouts walked various paths in and around Ripon’s Canal and the River Ure picking up seven bags of rubbish.
London Kayak Club partnered with Brentford community boat house to organise their cleanup.
They had over 100 participants cleaning up the River Thames and the Grand Union Canal
They collected over a dozen bags of rubbish, six shopping trolleys and a few heavy metal barriers!
Pentland Canoe Club did a beach clean at Scourie Island, south of Wick.
They collected old fish creels, broken buoys, tyres, a steering wheel and lots of plastic bottles.
Heritage Coast Canoe Club cleaned the River Brit, in Dorset, from West Bay to Bridport.
They picked out shopping trolleys, baskets and even a fire extinguisher!
The Bathtime Buddies had a fun day on the River Avon, at Newbridge Bath, as part of a Geocaching event.
They collected 26 bags of rubbish.
