Paddle UK is pleased to share full details of the U23 and Junior Canoe Sprint crewboat process for the 2025 season.
The primary goal of the Great Britain U23 & Junior crewboat process is to unite athletes across the UK to form the most competitive K4 crews to race at the 2025 June selection regatta, to qualify for the 2025 Junior European and Junior World Sprint Championships.
The crewboat panels will seek to create multiple crew boats for entry into the K4 races at the June selection regatta.
It should be noted that there has been a change to the stated junior process from what was presented at the selection webinar back in February.
The process will now only focus on establishing K4s, rather than K2s and C2s.
This decision has been taken as it was recognised that many clubs establish well-matched K2s/C2s with many already set for the upcoming season.
